Forest Creek Golf Club Named to Golfweek’s Top 200 Residential Courses For 2023

Forest Creek Golf Club’s North and South Courses have received the honor of being named a 2023 Best North Carolina Private Golf Course by Golfweek Magazine. This year, our Tom Fazio-designed North Course ranks 78th on the list, and 8th out of the 15 represented North Carolina courses.

The South Course, opened in 1996 and also a Tom Fazio design, comes in just behind North, at 117th overall and 12th among the N.C. courses.

While members may have their favorite between the North and South Courses, Forest Creek proves itself to be a premier golf destination for our membership and guests. Each course offers a distinct golf experience, fusing the natural terrain of North Carolina with the invigorating atmosphere that is Forest Creek Golf Club.

Golfweek’s Top 200 Residential Course rankings include both private and public-access courses, as long as they’re within residential developments. The magazine’s course-rating panel continually evaluates courses based on its own set of 10 criteria. A single, overall rating is given to each course, later to be averaged and compared against other courses in the region.
